Look Ma, no makeup! To shoot this commercial about the importance of the 2010 Census, our crew had to have the lighting and camera finesse to capture the beauty of “real” people without the aid of makeup artists and stylists, and the personality to convince strangers on the street to participate. Individuals were framed with a white canvas and shot in their typical living and working environment. The spot closes with a highly stylized, greenscreened graphic treatment.
