22 Media Programs help Alabama VOICES chronicle 300 years of state history

Videobred and our partner Donna Lawrence Productions produced 22 distinct media for the Alabama VOICES exhibit at the Museum of Alabama from late 2012 and early 2014.

The Videobred/DLP team worked with The PRD Group, the museum designer and project manager, and the staff at the Alabama Department of Archives and History to integrate media with the environmental exhibits that present more than 300 years of Alabama history from the Creek Indians to the turn of the 21st century.

Media development for the project included the content research, image research, writing, design, production and post-production for three audio programs, a video wall, three interactive programs, nine video albums and six films.

Alabama VOICES opened to the public in February, 2014. The entertaining and evocative exhibit has attracted record crowds at the Museum of Alabama and garnered outstanding reviews from visitors. In 2015, the Alabama Department of History and Archives received a Leadership in History Award presented by the American Association of State and Local History for Alabama VOICES.
